Job summary

SnapLock Industries, Inc. is seeking a motivated Quality Manager Intern to support the QMS and daily quality operations in a manufacturing setting.

The role offers hands-on exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management systems and practical process improvements. The Intern will assist with document control, procedures, internal audits, data collection, and KPI tracking, while collaborating with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework.
• Interest in quality systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn quality management system requirements and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining documentation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Review and update procedures, forms, records, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support document control activities, including revisions, approvals, distribution, and record retention.
• Assist with internal audits and preparation for external certification audits.
• Help track and monitor management system objectives, key performance indicators, and action items.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of management system improvements.
• Assist with monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support incoming material inspections and verification activities.
• Participate in product inspections, testing, and quality data collection.
• Assist in identifying and documenting quality concerns and non-conforming products.
• Help ensure inspection records and quality documentation are completed accurately and maintained.
