Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Director of Quality Management to direct and advance our quality initiatives across the Power Generation portfolio.

You will shape the enterprise QMS strategy, ensure regulatory alignment, and guide governance to improve performance and reduce risk. The role requires building strong partnerships with business units, deploying standardized quality practices, and leading change management to sustain improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; five+ years in quality programs within power generation or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise quality initiatives, audits, and CAPA across multiple units.
• Demonstrated ability to drive standardization, governance, and regulatory alignment across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage quality initiatives aligned with the business plan.
• Lead implementation of a unified Quality Management System across units.
• Define quality metrics, dashboards, and governance reviews for leadership visibility.
• Establish ownership for core QMS processes, audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Partner with unit leaders to drive adoption and balance enterprise consistency with unit needs.
