U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Quality Management Consultant at the Veterans Health Administration in New Orleans, LA.

The role focuses on coordinating performance improvement activities, ensuring compliance with VHA directives and external standards, and supporting accreditation readiness. The incumbent collaborates with ACQM, leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and monitor improvements across the facility.

• Facilitates compliance with VHA directive, local policies, and national guidance; implements service and hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
• Prepares for external reviews and maintains standards with regulatory bodies (e.g., TJC, EPA, GAO, OSHA).
• Collaborates with leadership to plan corrective actions and track improvements.
• Works with Patient Safety Manager on patient safety and infection control actions.
