Job summary

Qualifications

  • Major: Mechanical Engineering.
  • GPA 3.0 (cumulative).
  • Enrolled student status at a US four-year college or university.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours by time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have GPA from current university.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Work term dates: January 11th – May 14th, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support the group in the tracking and management of the Plant Problem Solving Process.
  • Investigate issues detected by internal sensors and from Warranty to ensure immediate containment and efficient problem solving.
  • Support special project aimed at improving problem detection, management and solving processes.
  • Investigate new G45 problem incidents as requested by Q-Steerer.
  • Monitor and investigate sensor data not reported as incidents with support for root cause analysis and ensure defect part available.
