The Quality Line Technician will inspect each truck to ensure it operates. They will thoroughly examine each spec book to make sure all customer expectations are met. The Quality Line Technician will assist test pit as needed. Also, they will efficiently fit and finish trucks.

This position is in a general shop where different tasks are completed and has access to all welfare facilities. In some cases, the temperature can be warmer or colder depending on the season, and the temperature can vary with the shop doors being opened during the winter season. There is no AC located in the shop, so it is usually humid. This position may have to help the Test Pit Department sometimes, which includes loud noises and wet floors. There is also constant noise with all the machines that are used inside the shop. Besides noise, some of the machines produce vibrations when being used. Most of the hazards come from machines but following proper procedures should minimize risk. There is also constant dust from the laser and plasma machines from the neighboring department. Some working conditions include heights and confined spaces to inspect the trucks.
This position requires standing, walking, and the use of hands for the entire shift. It can become very loud in the shop with many machines being used at once. With constant noise, talking or hearing can be difficult. During shifts, some projects require the use of feet, legs, hands, and fingers for over 60 minutes at a time. This position requires reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling sometimes. The use of knees, back, shoulders, and arms can range from 15 to 60 minutes. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, and good depth perception. All positions require the ability to lift 50 pounds.
