Job summary

ABB is seeking a Quality Specialist to provide quality support for customers, manufacturing, and engineering. You will lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, develop processes, and drive root-cause analysis to improve product quality and reduce costs.

Strong collaboration across functions is essential to meet customer demands and maintain process reliability. The role requires a technical degree with manufacturing experience and proficiency in documentation, Excel, and SAP/BUS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; required experience as specified.
• Strong analytical and project management skills; lean manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and SPC principles; able to implement continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
• Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes, standard work, training, engineering changes, and process controls.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, capability studies, and process compliance.
