gpac is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives from concept through production, ensuring robust design and consistent performance. You will drive data-driven root cause analyses to reduce variation, mentor QC personnel on precision measurement, and collaborate across departments to prevent issues and improve processes.

The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, and DFSS, with responsibilities spanning customer liaison, process capability, and corrective action

Qualifications

  • BSME or related technical degree with emphasis on analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • 7–10 years of industry QE experience with 3–5 years in structured root cause analysis.
  • Experience in medical device components or regulated manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply quality engineering initiatives from concept through production to ensure robust design and processes.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure product and process quality.
  • Serve as technical liaison with customers to address quality concerns and manage complaint resolution.
  • Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, DFSS, and Shainin methods.
  • Develop and guide inspectors; train on CMMs, vision systems, and fixtures.
  • Design and develop fixtures, gauges, and tools to streamline inspection processes.
