Job summary

ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Quality Manager for LGOR to lead vendor quality programs across our manufacturing network and guide site audits, CAPAs, and performance reviews. The role provides cross-functional leadership, supports new product launches, and ensures robust quality controls throughout the supplier ecosystem.

Ideal candidates have a science or engineering degree and 7–10 years in quality or operations, with ISO/Six Sigma certifications preferred and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
• ISO, Six Sigma or ASQ certifications are preferred.
• 7–10 years of quality or operations experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and vendor quality management across audits, CAPAs and qualifications.
• Provide dotted-line quality oversight to internal sites and contract manufacturers.
• Conduct data analytics to identify defect trends and drive improvements.
• Support new product commercialization and R&D trials with quality input.
• Develop control plans and write product waivers as needed.
