Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus 5+ years quality experience in manufacturing.
• 15+ years in quality-related roles with HS diploma or GED.
• 3 years of progressive continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop QA teams with performance reviews and training.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality procedures and compliance.
• Communicate with customers on quality items and coordinate with teams.
• Review Purchase Order requirements and flow down.
• Understand customer specs and translate into operations.
• Lead APQP activities: FAI, FMEA, PFD, MSA, Process Capability, Control Plan, Run @ Rate, 8D.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
• Apply root cause analysis and implement changes using DMAIC/PDCA.
• Maintain training programs using a Skills Matrix to improve core competencies.
• Support QMS via internal audits to AS9100 and other standards.
• Interface for customer audits and manage corrective actions.
• Oversee vendor quality and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
