Job summary

Silver Line Recruiting LLC is seeking a Quality Professional in Columbus, OH who will grow into a Quality Manager role. The position includes a built-in succession plan as the current manager retires in 2-3 years, with the new hire leading the quality function from day one and learning the operation during a transition.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on metrology, experience with tight tolerances, and a solid understanding of ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on metrology experience and use of inspection equipment.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing quality standards; ability to uphold them.
• Experience interacting with customers to resolve quality concerns; ISO 9001 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality function and participate in succession planning.
• Work with the current Quality Manager during the transition.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Drive process improvements and build a data-driven quality system.
