Job summary

Emerging Power in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a Quality Manager to own and elevate the entire quality function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead the development and continuous improvement of our QMS, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and AS9100, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Leadership to drive quality excellence and customer satisfaction. U.S. Citizenship is required due to ITAR.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (ITAR compliance).
• Experience managing or leading quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Hands-on experience with audits, inspections, CARs, and FAI documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Influence: Own all quality programs, certifications, and compliance initiatives (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Serve as the primary quality leader and customer point of contact.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish and track quality KPIs, goals, and management review metrics.
• Identify process improvements and implement corrective/preventive actions (CARs).
• Ensure Compliance & Excellence: Oversee internal audits, inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102.
• Maintain and enhance quality documentation (manuals, procedures, work instructions, PPAPs, PSWs).
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Engineering, Production, and Inspection teams to improve product and process quality.
• Participate in ECOs, MRB reviews, and design reviews.
• Develop People & Systems: Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Manage calibration programs for inspection and test equipment.
• Leverage SAP and data tools to monitor and report on quality performance.
