Job summary

Riverside Machine & Engineering in Eau Claire, WI, seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee Inspection, Calibration and Metrology. You will lead the quality team, drive compliance to regulatory requirements, and partner with Engineering and Production to improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Quality and 5+ years in quality/manufacturing with 2+ years in a team-leader role; aerospace background is a plus. This is an exempt, full-time role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in a quality, engineering, or manufacturing role and 2+ years in a team leader related position.
• Previous aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop employees in the Quality department.
• Collaborate with Management and Human Resources to resolve issues/concerns.
• Monitor and manage Inspection dept workload to meet delivery commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement ideas and process improvements.
• Coordinate disposition of nonconforming products as MRB member.
• Troubleshoot inspection process/equipment issues.
• Act as site mentor and train on quality requirements.
• Communicate stoppages to affected departments when observed.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
