Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading and developing a small team.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action procedures.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication helpful.
• Knowledge of Polyworks Software, Blueprint reading, and general CMM principles.
• Knowledge of ISO reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of gauge calibration principles and expectations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other computer software applications as needed in the auditing process.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks and manage daily functions of Quality Technicians.
• Maintain development skills matrix and collaborate on employee development plans.
• Participate in design reviews for new products to ensure proper tooling.
• Perform audits on items to verify conformance to prints and customer orders using precision tools.
• Notify purchasing when an item is out of specification and an NMR is required.
• Perform follow-up audits and manage gauge calibration system.
• Conduct calibration tests on measuring devices and record results.
• Perform pressure tests on welded vessels.
• Lead and develop a small team with leadership guidance.
