Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA/QC, compliance, and continuous-improvement initiatives in a cross-functional environment.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management to strengthen processes and resolve quality issues. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills to translate quality insights to leadership and frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC, compliance, operations, engineering, or process improvement.
• Experience with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple departments.
• Preferred: ISO/QMS experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, ASQ certification, or related professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control programs and processes.
• Establish and monitor quality standards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Conduct audits, inspections, process reviews, and quality assessments.
• Investigate quality issues and lead root-cause and corrective-action initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Quality documentation, procedures, records, and reporting.
• Support QMS, regulatory, contractual, and organizational compliance requirements.
• Analyze quality data and present trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and other teams.
• Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
