Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA/QC, compliance and continuous improvement. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management to strengthen processes and resolve quality issues.

The role requires 5+ years in quality management, a Bachelor's in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Hybrid work and a 12-month contract with renewal options are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC, compliance, operations, engineering, or process improvement.
• Experience with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple departments.
• ISO/QMS experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, ASQ certification, or related professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control programs and processes.
• Establish and monitor quality standards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Conduct audits, inspections, process reviews, and quality assessments.
• Investigate quality issues and lead root-cause and corrective-action initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Quality documentation, procedures, records, and reporting.
• Support QMS, regulatory, contractual, and organizational compliance requirements.
• Analyze quality data and present trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and other teams.
• Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
