Job summary

Silfab Solar in the United States is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure the quality and reliability of PV cells and modules through testing and analysis. You will operate precision testing equipment and document results to support continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes adherence to procedures, collaboration with QA, and the development of improved testing methods in a fast-paced solar manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred in electronics / renewable energy.
• Experience in a QA or testing role in solar/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on incoming materials, in-process components and finished PV cells and modules.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment including spectrometers, IV testers, EL testers and thermal cameras.
• Identify defects and deviations; collaborate with QA to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and document results.
