Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking an R&D Reliability Engineer to drive reliability and durability initiatives for its solar panel products. You will work within the R&D team to develop cutting-edge technologies and ensure product longevity and industry-leading performance.

You will design experiments, analyze data, and prepare reports that influence material choices, test methods, and product development while collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2-6 years in an R&D or product engineering environment; renewable energy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to run experiments to improve solar product reliability.
• Design and execute reliability tests; analyze data to guide product development and material selection.
• Develop test plans and generate detailed reports on performance and degradation.
