Job summary

Workforce Employment Specialists is seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician to join our Holland, MI team on second shift. You will conduct routine testing of materials, document results, and maintain calibrated lab equipment to ensure top quality products.

You will develop QC procedures and work with production to address issues. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
• Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
