Job summary

Lhoist North America is hiring a Lab/QC Technician to support plant operations with quality control testing, sample analysis, and adherence to safety standards. You’ll handle routine lab testing of materials, maintain equipment and records, and communicate results to support product quality and process improvements.

The role requires strong safety commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with plant and lab teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Chemistry/ Biology/ Engineering preferred.
• 1 year of lab/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control & Laboratory Operations: perform chemical, physical, and environmental testing per procedures.
• Accurately collect, prepare, analyze, and document samples for timely test results.
• Interpret data and communicate results to support quality and process performance.
• Maintain laboratory records and equipment, complying with quality systems.
