3M is seeking a Quality Technician in Cottage Grove, MN. You will perform testing and disposition of products and materials, calibrate instruments, and support R&D by evaluating new methods.

The role requires readiness for rotating shifts, including overnight hours, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus several years in a lab or manufacturing setting, with knowledge of chromatography, spectroscopy, and titrations.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined experience in a laboratory, pilot plant, or manufacturing facility in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Equivalent to an associate degree or higher in chemistry, physics, biology, or related fields is helpful.
• Experience in ISO 9001 or IATF 16949-certified facilities is a plus.
• Experience with data reporting and analysis in laboratory settings.

Responsabilités

• Test and disposition manufactured products and raw materials using analytical techniques.
• Calibrate analytical instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
• Support R&D by carrying out and evaluating new test methods.
• Report quality data and collaborate with onsite teams to act on the data.
• Be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes overnight shifts.
