Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed in Palatka, FL seeks a Lab Technician to support manufacturing quality and technical testing. The role conducts routine material and process tests, enters results, and assists with defect investigations to ensure regulatory and customer specifications are met.

You will train teammates in testing methods, monitor calibration, and help implement improvements in the lab and production lines. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in quality testing and data entry to quality systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong multi-tasking, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform quality tests per SOP and operate lab equipment.
• Conduct routine testing and enter data to ensure material and product quality.
• Assist investigation of defects and participate in root cause activities.
• Support calibration, trials, and evaluation of new materials or processes.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the lab.
