Entegris in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Quality Lab Technician II for the Front Half Night Shift. The role coalesces testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced metrology tools, with a focus on data integrity and process improvements.

The position supports 6S safety practices and instrument maintenance. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in an industrial lab, or an associate’s degree with 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in an industrial lab, or associate’s degree with 1+ year experience in an industrial lab.
• General knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced metrology tools.
• Follow work instructions for laboratory test methods; identify and implement method improvements.
• Record all data and results in specified data management systems accurately to ensure traceability and data defensibility.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment (6S guidelines).
• Maintain laboratory instruments, conduct long-term stability measurements, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Resolve testing or data issues by examining and evaluating large datasets to identify corrective actions.
• Strive for operational excellence, collaboration, positive team morale, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the creation, revision, and review of laboratory work instructions, including evaluation of procedural errors, ambiguities, or inefficiencies.]
