Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Quality Control Technician to maintain testing protocols, analyze results, and guide production adjustments to meet customer requirements. The role supports ISO and Safety Systems and involves interacting with multiple departments to resolve product issues.

Responsibilities include data entry, batch record keeping, and generating documentation for customer specifications. Employees receive health benefits and a comprehensive time-away package, with Six Sigma/ISO

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred: 1 year of experience in a quality control laboratory.
Preferred: 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
Associate degree or higher in Chemistry.

Responsibilities

Ensure all tests are completed and results meet specifications before proceeding to the next production step.
Enter batch data into the electronic batch records system.
Generate paperwork per customer specifications as needed.
Collect and send customer samples as required.
Use computer systems to ensure effective product testing.
Determine disposition of non‑conforming finished goods.
Place non‑conforming material on hold as needed.
Support ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.
Maintain lab supplies inventory.
Identify and communicate product issues to other departments.
Create and update standard operating procedures for the Quality Department.
