Job summary

Not disclosed company in Elk Rapids, MI is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their Quality team supporting production operations. You will follow recipe cards to maintain consistent product quality, complete QA checks every 30 minutes, and report findings to the line supervisor and QA supervisor.

The role offers full-time hours with a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule Monday through Friday, and opportunities to participate in audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to catch issues and maintain quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 8-10 lbs daily.
• Good written and verbal communication for reporting.
• Willingness to learn food production processes and quality expectations.
• Organized with time management and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe cards to support product quality.
• Complete quality assurance checks every 30 minutes to verify products meet standards.
• Communicate in detail with the line supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor when a QA check is not within range per the recipe card.
• Assist with performing regular audits to ensure products comply with company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations.
