Job summary

IQ Resource Group in Sheboygan is hiring 1st and 3rd shift Lab Technicians to ensure product quality through laboratory testing and line verifications in Random Lake, WI. You will operate GMP-compliant lab equipment, read specifications, conduct sensory and analytical tests, document results, and help maintain clean, organized lab spaces for production batches.

This role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred), lab experience, and a Food Safety Certification; overtime and flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Chemistry preferred.
• Previous lab or quality control experience; Food & Beverage industry experience preferred.
• Must complete and maintain Food Safety (Qualified Individual) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate in accordance with safety, GMP standards.
• Read, understand, and adhere to product specifications and testing parameters.
• Conduct regular line checks and sampling to verify product quality.
• Identify and segregate out-of-specification products; place on HOLD as needed.
• Perform sensory testing (flavor, visual, odor) against standard references.
• Communicate effectively with production personnel regarding line checks and coding verification.
• Foster a positive, professional work environment and support strong teamwork.
• Calibrate and maintain lab instrumentation and testing equipment.
• Follow all customer standards, quality requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory work areas.
• Complete and document quality data and reports for batches.
