Job summary

You will handle hazardous waste procedures, maintain calibration of gauges, and work with flexible shifts to meet production needs while maintaining a clean, organized lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Detail oriented with a clean, organized lab mindset.
• Quality and customer oriented approach.
• Knowledge of ISO quality and environmental standards.
• Able to use a computer to enter data and spot errors.
• Good data collection skills and trend observation.
• Familiarity with Quality Operating Systems.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS requirements for handling hazardous wastes.
• Follow all EHS requirements for proper ventilation use and PPE.
• Perform quality testing inspections per the Control Plan.
• Follow all test methods and report deviations for accuracy.
• Communicate test results to production teams and supervision.
• Monitor data collection in SPC systems per the Control Plan.
• Maintain accurate records for all testing results and CoA documents.
• Maintain records on age of chemicals and replacements.
• Verify CoA documentation meets current material specs.
• Provide day-to-day quality support to manufacturing.
• Be available to work flexible shift hours for production testing.
• Maintain lab work stations and ensure gauges and data entry systems are calibrated.
• Assist in problem solving and link actions to test results.
• Assist in updating work instructions as needed.
• Work within policies and regulations; perform PM on instruments.
