Job summary

Palmetto State Armory is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Quality Lab by designing and executing inspection processes. You will use CMM and other measurement tools to verify parts meet internal and external quality standards, and report results to the Quality Lab Engineer.

Responsibilities include interpreting GD&T, performing open setups, training inspectors, and developing methods to improve part reliability and process capability while working with Eng and suppliers to resolve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient with hand measurement tools and CMM.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.
• Effective technical communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Program and run CMM on suspect parts to support QA.
• Interpret GD&T callouts and support inspections.
• Collaborate with Eng/Mgt/Suppliers to meet specs.
• Train inspectors and maintain measurement equipment.
• Analyze quality data to certify or reject parts.
