Ideal candidates have experience in a quality lab/manufacturing lab and knowledge of heat treatment principles, microstructures, or hardness testing is a huge plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality lab/manufacturing lab environment.
• Knowledge of heat treatment principles, microstructures, or hardness testing is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Cutting parts
• Mounting samples
• Checking coating weights
• Titrations
• Chemical tracking and ordering lab supplies
• Inventory tracking
• Non-conforming product containment
• Performing profiles on furnaces
• Hardness checks
• Entering results
• Setting up rework
• Communicating part sampling frequency
• Following the environment policy
• Prototype sample tracking
• PPAP
• Microstructure checks
• Hardness tester verification
• Responsible for passing/failing parts
• Following Safety Policy
• Ensuring proper PPE use
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
