Job summary

Aalberts Ht in Canton, OH, seeks a Quality Lab Technician responsible for daily quality checks of customer products and for maintaining accurate test records. You will cut parts, mount samples, perform hardness tests and titrations, track inventory and ensure proper PPE and safety compliance; collaborate with production to containment non-conforming parts and coordinate rework.

Experience in manufacturing and basic heat-treat concepts is preferred; HS diploma required; this on-site role offers

Qualifications

• Be able to act with limited supervision while gaining general instructions from their supervisor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Past experience with a basic knowledge of heat treat principles, microstructures, hardness testing is preferred.
• Minimum experience requirements include an understanding of all equipment, processes and procedures for the operation and knowledge of all Aalberts Business Systems (Safety, 5S, AS400).
