We value strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with production to resolve quality issues. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a quality control laboratory or similar role in plastics/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing methods for QA.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests on plastic materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Document and analyze test results, preparing reports for management.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accurate measurements.

Vinmar Recycling Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our team in Belmont, NC. In this role, you will be an essential part of our quality assurance efforts, responsible for conducting tests and inspections on plastic materials and products to ensure they meet our company standards and industry regulations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality production levels and identifying areas for improvement. The Quality Lab Technician will utilize various laboratory equipment and testing methods, analyze results, and document findings accurately. You will also collaborate closely with production teams to address any quality concerns promptly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory practices, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to quality management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality control in the plastics industry and dedicated to continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm
