Responsibilities
- Must Have:Forklift Certification -Plusif through an OSHA-accredited trainer.
- Must Have: 4 years of relevant experience OR a Degree/Certificate in Science
- Product Lab Testing (training provided):Run comprehensive plastic material and performance assessments, checking variables like thickness, strength, impact resistance, and visual clarity.
- Competitor Benchmarking:Analyze alternative marketplace products to evaluate performance metrics and pinpoint development opportunities.
- Trials & Deviations:Coordinate testing and verification protocols for new material formulations, client trials, and product development phases.
- Operational Troubleshooting:Partner with production teams to diagnose and resolve manufacturing defects or process anomalies.
- Root Cause Analysis:Drive investigations and implement preventative measures to stop recurring issues.
- Client Care Support:Assist with investigation protocols for client feedback and compile data for customer-facing documentation.
- Team Training:Train and mentor floor operators and junior lab technicians on proper testing protocols, documentation standards, and quality goals.
- Regulatory Compliance:Help maintain the facility's SQS Certification, adherence to food safety standards, specialized handling procedures, and industry certifications.
- Nice to Have:Experience working inside a plastic manufacturing environment
- Nice to Have:Six Sigma, 5S, orLean Manufacturing knowledge
