Vinmar Recycling Solutions in Belmont, NC, is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join our quality assurance team. You will conduct tests on plastic materials and products, document results, and help ensure compliance with industry standards.

We value strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with production to resolve quality issues. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a quality control laboratory or similar role in plastics/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing methods for QA.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests on plastic materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Document and analyze test results, preparing reports for management.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment for accurate measurements.
• Collaborate with production personnel to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures.
• Participate in regular quality audits and inspections.
• Keep the laboratory organized and compliant with safety standards.
