Zing Recruiting is seeking a Quality Lab Technician for a leading food manufacturing company in Illinois. You will inspect and test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet food safety, quality, and company standards.

This is a swing shift: 6pm–2:30am, Monday to Friday, at $25/hour. You will log samples, perform tests, enter results in the ERP system, and decide acceptance or rejection.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of overall work experience.
• Laboratory or Quality Control experience required.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• ERP system experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Aufgaben

• Log and manage samples within the Quality Control lab.
• Perform chemical and physical testing on products and incoming ingredients.
• Enter test results into the ERP system and determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Perform basic equipment calibrations.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and quality deviations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment.
• Perform Food Safety monitoring and verification on the production floor.
• Conduct internal GMP inspections.
• Support the Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Complete administrative and other QC tasks as needed.
• Provide support to other team members when needed.

Shift

Swing shift: 6pm-230am

Monday – Friday Pay: $25/hr
