Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Laboratory Quality Technician to monitor production and support quarry operations, ensuring product quality and process efficiency. You will act as a subject matter expert in the quality department, develop SOPs, troubleshoot equipment, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

The role requires at least one year in quality or laboratory work, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably a chemistry degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year quality or laboratory experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A.S./B.S. in chemistry or related science is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing and support production to ensure product quality.
• Maintain quality assurance programs and document results.
• Prepare data and reports for audits and customer inquiries.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and assist with SOPs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on lab equipment.
