Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures Lead Lab Technician position seeks an analytical and detail-oriented professional to ensure all products meet PCNA specifications. You will operate blending and analytical equipment, review records, train associates, and work with QC to maintain high-quality beverages from water to finished goods.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or 3 years QC experience, basic math/computer skills, and strong communication, organization, and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or three (3) years of quality control experience.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Background in chemistry and laboratory environment preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to think analytically.
• Good hand eye coordination.
• Must be self-motivated with strong initiative.
• Must be able to learn and follow establish procedures without deviation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good training and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs micro blend operation.
• Tests finished products, packages, water, syrup, and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Monitors production lines for beverage quality.
• Calibrates equipment.
• Testing and treat water Microbiology collecting, plating, reading and recording
• Receives concentrate
• Controls lab inventory (Kanban)
• Trains new technicians
• CIP Verification/Setup/Perform
• Organizes storage, perform housekeeping and trash removal
• Other duties as assigned.
