Norwood Medical is currently seeking a quality lab inspector to work for our day shift team. The job duties include performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacturing of products.

Norwood Medical is currently seeking a quality lab inspector to work for our day shift team. The job duties include performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacturing of products.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing set-up/Green Tag Inspections
• Approving in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the appropriate manufacturing personnel
• Approving finished product by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, confirming re-work.
• Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and scrap, and/or inputting data into a quality database
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and ensuring measurement equipment remains operational
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Previous experience working in a quality lab highly preferred
• Experience using quality measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
• Ability to follow established methods/procedures
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Basic skills to speak, read, write in English
