Schreiber Foods is offering a Quality Internship at our Green Bay Home Office with two location options: remote or onsite. The role supports food safety and quality initiatives while learning across global quality programs.

The year-round internship expects 15–20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during summer and winter breaks, starting January 2027. Paid hourly at $20.75.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Data Sciences, Food Safety & Quality or closely related field.
• Graduation date May 2028 or later.
• Availability to work 15–20 hours/week in school terms and 40 hours/week during breaks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Take ownership of assignments and deliver results.
• Willingness to grow and take on challenges.
• Ability to multitask.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Create and update documentation and KPI reports for food safety and quality systems.
• Learn product knowledge and apply it to improve processes.
• Input and analyze data.
• Assist quality teams on ongoing projects.
• Support quality systems activities (COAs, Shelf Life extensions) and CAPA, Document Control, Hold & Release, Recall & Traceability.
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing from multiple sources.

This internship is a year-round internship working part-time hours during the school year (15-20 hours/week) and full-time (40 hours) during the summer and winter breaks.

Location Options

This internship offers two location options; remote or onsite from our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We anticipate the selected candidate will start in January 2027.

Pay

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $20.75 / hour.

What you’ll do

• Creating and updating documentation and reports such as KPI's for food safety and quality systems
• Gaining knowledge about our products and applying that knowledge to improve processes and practices
• Inputting and analyzing data
• Assisting the quality teams on ongoing projects
• Support and assist with quality system maintenance activities and projects such as COAs and Shelf Life extensions
• Support processes of key quality systems (QS) programs to drive alignment globally, such as but not limited to Non-Conforming Events, Complaints, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Document Control, Hold and Release, Recall and Traceability, etc.
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing from a variety of sources.

What you will need to succeed

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Data Sciences, Food Safety and Quality or closely related field.
• A graduation date of May 2028 or later
• Availability to work approximately 15 to 20 hours a week during the semester, and 40 hours a week during summer and winter breaks
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them
