Job summary

Kerry offers a 12-week summer internship in multiple U.S. locations, including Wisconsin, designed to give students real, impactful roles in our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental functions.

The program runs from May 24 to August 12, 2027, with a $21.00 per hour pay rate and potential relocation assistance. Eligible interns must pursue a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related fields, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and be willing to relocate.

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Engineering with anticipated graduation between Dec 2027–May 2028.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization.

Potential plant locations include Clark, NJ; Rome, GA; Manitowoc, WI; Jackson, WI; Sturtevant, WI; Rochester, MN; and Rothschild, WI.

Key Responsibilities

• Job shadow and work alongside the employees on the functional teams.
• This plant level role will focus on ensuring that plant production processes deliver optimal quality food products for customers.
• Support oversight of quality control measures, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards (like HACCP and GMP).

Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university, in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Engineering related field, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028
• Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively to all levels of an organization
• Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels of an organization
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

At Kerry, we want our interns to focus on learning, growing, and making an impact. Eligible interns who relocate more than 50 miles for their internship will receive a $3,500 living allowance to help cover housing and other living expenses during the summer program.
