Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire and cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production in Ohio.

Responsibilities include approving incoming materials, documenting results, maintaining records, calibrating test equipment, and contributing to SOPs. Candidates should have a high school degree and 2–3 years of inspector experience with strong

Qualifications

• Requires high school degree or equivalent.
• 2 years experience, 3 years preferred.
• Able to analyze information and report results.
• Documentation and organization are essential.
• Attention to detail is critical in inspections.
• Solid math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Able to use measurement equipment.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specs; tests visually and by measurement; rejects unacceptable materials.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputs data into quality database.
• Maintains controlled document files and test records timely and accurately.
• Coordinates calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
• Monitors critical equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration.
• Participates in creating or revising SOPs for the inspection function.
• Assists in writing and updating inspection procedures and checklists.
