Job summary

Apollo Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform and document inspections on construction projects in Reno, NV. You will generate inspection reports, coordinate site inspections with sub-contractors and vendors, and manage on-site nondestructive testing to ensure quality conformance.

• Experience with ASME and AWS codes required.
• Clear and effective communication, verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional interaction with multiple stakeholders on site.

Responsibilities

• Generate all required inspection reports.
• Coordinate quality inspections with site sub-contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate all nondestructive testing on site.
• Coordinate approval of QC submittals with the customer.
• Interact with the customer representative on quality matters.
• Perform receiving inspection of equipment and material.
• Perform welding, dimensional, visual and other inspections.
