Job summary

Advance Services, Inc. in Sandy, UT, is seeking a Quality Inspector for swing shift. You will inspect parts both visually and dimensionally and verify supplier documentation for incoming materials, with emphasis on accuracy and traceability.

You will perform in-process sampling, document results, and help prepare final shipments while adhering to safety policies. English fluency and ability to train on the day shift are required.

Qualifications

• Previous medical assembly experience is desired
• Must be fluent in English reading, writing and speaking
• Must be able to train for two weeks on the day shift
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

• Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally using micrometer, microscope, optical comparator, gauge pins, caliper, height indicator and scales according to the instructions in the Inspection Plans
• Verify documentation provided by supplier meets the requirements for incoming materials
• Perform in-process sampling per inspection procedures and document results
• Prepare final shipment, source inspection and documentation
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicates clearly and document inspection results legibly

Job Duties

• Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally using micrometer, microscope, optical comparator, gauge pins, caliper, height indicator and scales according to the instructions in the Inspection Plans.

Shift Details

• Hours: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Shift: Monday -Thursday
