Job summary

Mill Creek Machining is seeking Quality Inspectors to join our Spencer, IA team, offering a climate-controlled shop and comprehensive benefits. Pay ranges from $20 to $40 per hour DOE, with a weekly attendance bonus.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing precise measurements, documenting results, and supporting AS9100 quality processes. All experience levels encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting drawings.
• Proficient use of precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Familiarity with quality systems (AS9100) and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and process nonconforming material.
• Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
• Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
