Job summary

Mill Creek Machining, a location of Delva Tool & Machine, is seeking a Quality Inspector I, II, or III to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while helping maintain the highest standards of quality throughout production. You will inspect with calipers, micrometers and other precision tools, interpret drawings, document results, and support AS9100 quality system requirements.

Experience with GD&T and CMMs is valued for higher levels.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of manufacturing quality principles.
• Knowledge of AS9100, GD&T, CMMs, and FAI documentation is highly valued for higher-level positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and process nonconforming material.
• Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
• Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
