Job summary

Mill Creek Machining in Paullina, IA, is seeking Quality Inspectors at all levels to join a climate-controlled shop. Pay ranges from $20 to $40 per hour DOE, with a weekly attendance bonus and comprehensive benefits. Training will be provided to advance your skills and career.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. The role involves dimensional inspections, interpreting drawings, documenting results, and supporting AS9100 requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience ranging from entry-level to senior inspection roles.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of AS9100, GD&T, CMMs, and FAI documentation valued for higher roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and process nonconforming material.
• Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
• Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.

Mill Creek Machining is seeking all levels of Quality Inspectors to join their team in Paullina, IA.

Location: Paullina, IA
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20-$40 DOE

A weekly attendance bonus will be added to each pay period when all scheduled hours are worked*

What You’ll Do

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and process nonconforming material.
• Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
• Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
