Nidec Motor Corporation is hiring a Quality Technician in Texas to support day-to-day quality activities. You will perform inspections, verify specifications, and generate reports to ensure conformance across incoming, in-process, and finished goods.

The role supports continuous improvement and maintains calibration equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with quality-related certs preferred and 0–1 years of related experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training or quality related certificate preferred.
• 0-1 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass all required pre-employment screenings – Background, Physical & Drug screen.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds unrestricted.
• Be willing to work evenings and/or weekends if required.

Aufgaben

• Perform quality inspections and verification activities for incoming, in-process, and completed products.
• Verify product conformance to applicable specifications, drawings, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Review and ensure customer-specific repair requirements are met.
• Create customer reports such as DC I, COC, and RCA.
• Support nonconformance and corrective action process through identification, documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
• Support calibration equipment control and maintenance.
• Maintain quality records and documentation per company requirements.
• Assist with PFMEAs, Control Plans, ITPs, and other quality-related activities.
• Support implementation and maintenance of the QMS and related quality processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
