Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for Charlotte, MI. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections on materials and products, using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.

You will document results, address non-conformances, and work with production to identify root causes. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing quality inspection, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with precision tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and CMMs.
• Understanding of GD&T principles and ISO 9001 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify specifications.
• Document inspection results, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Initiate and track NCRs for defective materials or products.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Conduct FAI and in-process audits to ensure quality standard compliance.
