Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure deep draw stamping parts meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and internal quality standards through comprehensive inspections. This role operates on a schedule of Monday–Thursday, with overtime eligibility, in a manufacturing setting adjacent to the shop floor.

You will read drawings, apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and use precision tools to verify dimensions, surfaces, and alignment, while contributing to nonconformance

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with QMS documentation and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections on deep draw stamped components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and inspect using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Identify nonconformances, document results, and support corrective actions.
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
