Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking aQuality Inspector to verify raw materials, parts and finished products against specifications. You will document deviations, inspect critical dimensions, and maintain inspection records on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality control, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, weld gauges, and the ability to read blueprints and technical specs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ISO 9001 familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in Quality Control, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, weld gauges; able to read blueprints and technical specs.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, parts and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and document defects in non-conforming materials and prepare documentation per Quality System procedures.
• Record critical dimensional and surface characteristics per company and customer standards.
• Develop operational procedures and methods as required.
• Notify supervisor of nonconformities and deviations from quality standards.
• Maintain inspection records according to established procedures.
• Assist in audits of finished products and processes and document results.
