Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding or quality control certs preferred.
• 3+ years in mechanical inspection, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiar with standard inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of fabrication/assembly processes (welding, machining).
• Basic computer literacy; strong teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical components and assemblies at various production stages.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and configurations with inspection tools.
• Review drawings/blueprints for compliance.
• Document findings, deviations, and corrective actions clearly.
• Collaborate with production to communicate issues and ensure corrections.
• Assist in root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Maintain traceable quality records per policy and standards.
• Monitor welding procedures, material usage, and machine settings.
• Perform in-process inspections to identify issues early.
• Enforce safety protocols throughout manufacturing.
