Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Material Inspector for the Mount Holly Springs facility. You will inspect incoming materials, review COCs, and operate the XRF machine to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to learn technical processes in a fast-paced environment with regular shift training on first shift before moving to the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior inspection experience required; training provided.
• Ability to learn technical processes and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and parts against requirements.
• Review drawings and COCs for incoming materials and production units.
• Operate XRF machine for incoming inspections.
• Maintain Incoming Inspection Log and material retention when required.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure inspections are done accurately.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
